It's a BOY!

We had our 20 week check up yesterday & the first thing we saw was that the baby is a boy. "A BIG boy" as the doctor said! ;). The measurements and the check up went well. We're going to have a healthy baby boy. We're soo happy & very excited. The baby weighed 11 ounces. The doctor thinks the baby will be a little bigger than Jacob when he was born. Jacob was born at 7lbs 9oz. As Khalil said, i'm having a C-Section, so it's no big deal! :)

The baby had one of his hands on his face, the same way Jacob was when we had the ultrasounds. Another thing, the baby had his legs crossed from the ankles. Seems he was just chilaxing in there!

We still don't know the due date. We'll find out in July. We're still hoping for 09/09/2009. Hope that works. If not, maybe we'll have the baby on Khalil's birthday, 09/06.

Jacob still doesn't know what's going on. The only thing he does is point to my belly and say "baby", then he gives the "baby" a kiss. Soo cute. I'm sure Jacob will be happy having a brother. I can't wait to see them both grow up together, play and share special moments.

Khalil and I both had a feeling it was a boy. But still, it was nice to hear the news ... officially!

The funny thing, whenever i called someone in my family or some friends to share the news, the first thing they said after congratulating us on the boy was, "the third will be a girl!!" Third?! They're talking about the 3rd baby and the 2nd baby is still not here! :) No Pressure!

Not a lot of preperations to be done now. Since everything we have is for a boy :) So, no new bedroom, paint and shopping for clothes. As one of my friends said to us, it's cheaper having another boy! She's right! less work and less everything! :) lol

We now have to work on Jacobs new BIG BOY bedroom. Hopefully we'll get to that before i'm too big to move!

Another very important thing happened yesterday. I felt the baby's first REAL kick! it was GREAT! It was one kick but he was moving most of the day yesterday. It feels soo good! :)

Two boys in the house! wow ... i'm soo looking forward to that! And i can't wait to hold my precious baby boy in my arms.
