That's how long the doc said i had to keep the "cast shoe" on until my toe heals completely ... I didn't like that one bit, especially that it's nothing close to being comfortable, but nothing to do about it ... i have a feeling my toe will get better sooner than that and i'll be out of this shoe soon. The good news is that the doc gave me another softer/smaller shoe that i can wear to drive. Didn't try that out yet, but will soon.
Last night, it was the first night that i had to sleep in this shoe ... very uncomfortable, as it is also very heavy and bulky! It's funny really. Oh well, i'll get used to it ... afterall, its going to be there for 10 weeks! :)
Jacob is doing really great these days. His personality has changed a lot! The way he interacts, plays, his interests, everything! He's soo cute. He loves books & cars. He has his own car parking place behind the T.V ! That's where we find all his cars parked nicely and in order! :) I should take a picture of that sometime. I felt really bad for him because he's been at home most of the times. First because he was sick, then the hospital stay and then with my borken toe. He was very very bored. We tried to take him out as much as we could after Khalil got back from work, but it was mostly around grown ups. Hopefully now if i was able to drive safely with this special shoe we'll be going out more often. And go to our playdates.
